The South side of Nagai city is known as the Koide area. In this course, you can find Kuwajima Memorial Hall which was the former Kuwajima Eye Clinic, a former Koike Birth Clinic, which are built in the style of the Gothic Period Architecture. You can also find a Yamaichi Soysauce Shop, famous for Agegarashi, and Yamasegura Art Museum.
One of the hot spots is Shirotsutsuji Park, which hosts the traditional Kurojishi (Black Lion) Festival each year.
